If there's any indication that the storyline between Alicia and Lachlan is over, tonight's brilliantly played closure definitely sealed it. I personally don't understand the displeasure some folks have with this story. It's intriguing, different, dramatic and sometime downright ugly (in the best way possible)- all the elements of a great soap plot. It also helps tremendously the actors involved are brilliant in it. Natalie Anderson, Thomas Atkinson and Louise Marwood have been great with the material and it only gets me excited to see what other things are planned for Alicia and Lachlan since we're kinda getting to a head with Chrissy and Robert.
Which leads me to Chrissy playing coy. Aaron, a better person for not exposing Robert's affair, attempts to get Chrissy to reconcile with Robert. It almost worked too, if it wasn't for the latest round of Robert whiplash. I preferred him drunk only because we hear the truth when he's drunk. So what will Chrissy's plan of action be? She's obviously playing along to plot something and seeing what she was capable of with Mafia Don, I'm not sure Robert will be a match.
Emma, Emma, Emma. You crazy lady. I don't have much to add for her since she hasn't done much since adding blackmailing her son yesterday. She just reverted back to being a bitch for no reason- at least I get to see more stoned acting from Charley Webb. As close as Finn is to exposing her, the tangled web is now within her own family, maybe once Pete finds out and James return, the family will take care of it themselves- which will probably have the most effect on Emma.
And what's this? Dan can afford to go to college this very moment? Interesting. Thought turning a Spencer from blue collar to white collar can be something to jolt that family from being uninteresting.
